Panos Emporio beachwear and fragrances are now available in Dufry stores throughout Scandinavia |
Swedish based Panos Emporio has made its foray into the travel retail fragrance category through a new deal with Dufry.
Known for its range of beachwear, Panos Emporio made its debut at the TFWA World Exhibition last year. The brand launched a range of fragrances on the Swedish domestic market in 2013 and through the new agreement with Dufry, its fragrances will be highlighted in the retailer’s stores throughout Scandinavia.
Panos Emporio’s 50ml masculine scent L´Homme is described as light with fresh citrus and marine notes. For women, Floral Scent has fruity top notes including raspberry, melon, bergamont and plum, a floral heart and base notes of sandalwood, vanilla and musk. Gold Flower features top notes including pepper and rhubarb and a base including amberwood and patchouli, while Coco Sun is described as a romantic scent filled with flowers and fruits. The three fragrances for women are available in 30ml and 50ml.

Shimmering Lotions which include vitamins and argan oil, a Revitalizing Oil for face, body and hair and deodorants are also featured.
Panos Emporio Founder Panos Papadopoulos said: “Panos Emporio has been successful in beachwear for 30 years and is now starting to grow in the fragrance category as well. We want to strengthen our position in Scandinavia and we also want to grow in new markets. Now we’re working with Dufry we can reach a big travelling audience. The possibilities are incredible.”
Papadopoulos said customer statistics indicated that 95% of the brand’s customers were non-Swedish, with some Asian travellers buying all four of Panos Emporio’s perfumes. “That means customers are looking for something new; something they cannot find elsewhere,” he concluded.
