Paris Baguette opens first airport outlet beyond Korea at Changi

SINGAPORE. South Korean bakery and café brand Paris Baguette has opened its first airport outlet beyond its home country at Singapore Changi Airport. The concept in the Arrivals hall of Terminal Two offers more than 90 items, including some exclusive to the Changi unit.

Paris Baguette operates more than 3,200 stores in South Korea and 172 stores worldwide in markets including Vietnam, China and the USA.

Operation Manager Kim Hwan said: “Singapore is an important market for Paris Baguette, as a stepping stone to future expansion in Asian market. At the same time, Changi Airport, being one of the most connected air hubs in the world and a major gateway for Singaporeans and passengers from all over the world, has naturally become a platform to gain global recognition for our brand.”

Among its menu of South Korean bakery products, salads and sandwiches, many items – such as the Korean Power Garlic Baguette, the Mango Latte and the Korean Bulgogi sandwich – have been infused with Singaporean flavours to meet local tastes.

Changi Assistant Vice President for Landside Concessions Edwin Lim added: “We are pleased to welcome the arrival of Paris Baguette, a bakery with a strong brand identity and following in Korea. The opening of Paris Baguette’s first outlet in an international airport outside of Korea underscores our commitment to deliver a superior Changi Experience.”

Changi houses more than 120 F&B outlets across the airport’s three terminals, of which more than 50 are located within the public landside areas.
