Parlux has launched the latest Paris Hilton fragrance: Gold Rush. Its bottle takes the form of a woman’s body, curvaceous and swathed in gold in what is designed to be an unapologetic display of femininity.
Inspired by the golden years of Hollywood, the oriental fruity fragrance is described as an evocation of feminine sophistication by Parlux. With top notes of lemon zest, bergamot and juicy nectarine, its heart contains petals of velvet orchid, rose and violet. An opulent base is provided by vanilla bean, golden praline and cashmere woods, the company said.

The creators of the fragrance, Richard Herpin of Parlux and Jennifer Mullarkey of Firmenich, explained: “We were inspired by the duality of gold and our interpretation of it in fragrance. Sparkling, bright and glowing, yet warm, rich and sensuous.
“We wanted to construct a fragrance that captured this contrast by offering the right balance of luminous citrus top notes with a heart of radiant florals and the sweetness of golden gourmands and warm woods.”
Gold Rush Paris Hilton Eau de Parfum is available in 30ml and 100ml bottles.
