Parlux Fragrances showcases new celebrity scents at Singapore

Parlux Fragrances has unveiled the latest scent from socialite Paris Hilton, called Dazzle. The line was showcased at the recent TFWA Asia Pacific Show in Singapore.

“Give me a chance to colour my world and I colour it pink!” Hilton explained. “Dazzle, my newest fragrance, is all about my world, me and all the different facets of my personality. I love beautiful jewels and of course, pink diamonds are a favourite, but feeling dazzling, special and on top of the world isn’t about material things. For me, it comes from within. And that’s what I wanted to express with this fragrance.”

Pretty in pink: socialite Paris Hilton is out to Dazzle with her latest feminine fragrance

The juice, composed by Frank Voelkl, is described as sensual, fruity and floral. It opens on notes of pink lady apple, maraschino cherry and peach nectar, building to a heart of violet petals, pink calypso orchid and orange blossom. The base blends vanilla, white patchouli and musk.

The pink, rounded, faceted bottle was created by HDM Design’s Henry de Monclin. Fashion photographer Tony Duran shot the ad campaign.

The Dazzle product line-up comprises 30ml, 50ml and 125ml edp sprays, and a 200ml body lotion. Domestic price points range from US$28 to US$59.

“Dazzle gives Paris’s inner beauty a chance to shine through,” noted Parlux Fragrances Chairman and CEO Frederick E. Purches. “This fragrance shows off her sensuality and her sophistication; it’s rich, sparkling and, as Paris so delightfully is, fun and flirty.”

Vintage Bloom aims to capture Jessica Simpson’s “charming, natural” style

In other news, Parlux Fragrances has revealed Vintage Bloom, the new fragrance from singer/actress Jessica Simpson. It is described as a soft, sheer, romantic floral that captures Jessica’s charming, natural style.

“I love the sweet allure of flowers in full bloom, sun-drenched afternoons and cosy evenings with someone I adore. To me, Vintage Bloom is all about my favourite things; it is easy, lovely, joyful and such a true connection to my heart.”

Composed by Stephanie Hakes, Vintage Bloom features top notes of lemon and Caipirinha lime zest. Other key ingredients include raspberry blossom, peony, musk and sandalwood.

The bottle was inspired by a vintage fragrance flacon belonging to Simpson. It was reinterpreted by Lance McGregor of Paul Meyers and Friends. The ad campaign was shot by Michelangelo Di Battista.

The Vintage Bloom product line-up comprises 30ml, 50ml and 100ml edp sprays, plus a 177ml body lotion. The recommended domestic price points range from US$30 to US$65.

“Vintage Bloom is a reflection of Jessica Simpson’s southern charm and wonderful feminine spirit,” noted Purches. “This light, airy fragrance is meant to be a keepsake, a nod to the romance of the past, yet it remains very much connected to the present. This”¦fragrance is bound to appeal to every woman who’s ever been entranced by the tantalizing scents of a garden in full bloom.”

“Approachable and timeless in her beauty, Jessica Simpson’s style is refreshingly natural, as soft and pretty as her newest fragrance, Vintage Bloom,” added Vince Camuto, CEO of the Camuto Group, the master licensee for the Jessica Simpson Collection.

“We created this romantic invitation, in partnership with Parlux Fragrances, to invite women everywhere to experience the essence of Jessica Simpson herself, a fresh, modern American beauty who’s at heart an old-fashioned girl.”
