AUSTRIA. Passenger traffic at the Austrian Airlines Group was up +3.8% in January it announced yesterday.
The Austrian Airlines group as a whole, with flagship carrier Austrian, charter line Lauda Air and regional carrier Austrian Arrows, carried about 606,000 passengers in January.
January passenger load factor on scheduled flights, which measures the average number of seats sold as a proportion of seats available, rose 5.9 percentage points to 71.3%.
