Perfetti Van Melle appoints Michiel Goedvolk as Global Travel Retail Director

Michiel Goedvolk will bring an intimate knowledge of the Dutch-Italian company’s confectionery and gum portfolio to the travel retail sector

Perfetti Van Melle has named Michiel Goedvolk Global Travel Retail Director.

Goedvolk replaces Dennis van der Wulp, who has been appointed Export Director with a particular focus on European expansion.

During his 17 years in the company, Goedvolk has held various senior roles including that of Marketing Manager Benelux for the past eight years, overseeing key brands, Chupa Chups, Mentos, Klene, Smint and Frisk.

Goedvolk said: “I am looking forward to learning more about the global travel retail market and how travelling consumers and shoppers behave when they purchase confectionery. I am excited to become part of this dynamic, international world.” ✈
