This Chupa Chups Hello Kitty Tin contains 16 lollipop flavours |
NETHERLANDS. Amid news of its appointment of several major global distributors, Perfetti van Melle showed US buyers at the IAADFS show in Orlando last month a number of new products for its Mentos and Chupa Chups sugar confectionery brands.
Among the Chupa Chups novelties is the Chupa Chups Hello Kitty Tin, which extends the Pop Art designer tin range. The tin contains 16 Chupa Chups lollipop flavours.
A linked promotion gives away a Hello Kitty gwp with the purchase of two Megachups.
Also new is the Chupa Chups Minitin special edition 60s design. This collectible tin, featuring a cool graphic design, includes 16 lollipops.
Designed as a gift item, the Chupa Chups Flower Bouquet contains two lollipops and a greetings card which can be personalised.
Also new for US buyers in the pouch bag range is the Chupa Chups Pouch Bag Tongue Painter, which paints your tongue black (cola flavour), orange (orange flavour) and red (cherry flavour).
In the new Chupa Chups candy range, novelties include the Chupa Chups Pouch Bag Fruit Filled (250g) and Fruit Duo (400g).
Mentos novelties
For the Mentos brand, there is a new pencil case presentation, and the Jumboroll now comes in a Watermelon/Mango Orange flavour.
The new Mentos Aquabottle is filled with Mentos candies and can be reused as a drinks container.
In the chewing gum range, there are four new items: Mentos Gum Aqua Kiss Hawaiian 4-pack and Pacific 4-pack, Mentos Gum Pure Fresh Freshmint 8-pack and Fresh Spearmint 8-pack.

Display solutions
Display solutions include shelf displays with new partitions, designed for small store spaces, containing Jumborolls and Megachups.
