Perth Airport extends its parking, shopping and dining offer

AUSTRALIA. Perth Airport has announced the opening of a new long-term car park at the International Terminal, complemented by new shopping and dining options in both international and domestic terminals.

In domestic Terminal 3, Red Rooster, Sumo Salad and Hudsons Coffee are now open on Level 1 in the Departures area. For those wanting to pick up a pair of bathers or a hat before their flight, a Beachculture store has opened in the Departures area on Level 1.

In the international terminal (T1), food & beverage outlet Wots in the Wok has opened on Level 1 (before security). Two retail outlets have also opened, Think WA and Australian Made, which provide passengers with the opportunity to purchase a unique piece of Western Australia before they fly.

A new long-term car park (LONGterm H), with capacity for 1,416 cars, is now open along Horrie Miller Drive, providing safe and secure parking 24 hours a day. The car park is serviced by a free shuttle service which transfers passengers from the air conditioned shelter to the front of the terminal every ten minutes.

Comprehensive CCTV coverage, combined with state-of-the-art vehicle licence plate recognition, ensures greater security for vehicles.

An additional 1,545 bays will be constructed as part of Stage 2 of this project and will be open in April.

With the opening of this new car park there are now over 10,150 parking bays at Perth Airport. Long-term parking rates are very competitive with a seven-day stay costing A$88 (US$87).
