Perth Airport launches tender for six-year advertising concession

AUSTRALIA. Perth Airport is seeking tender submissions for its estate-wide advertising concession. The contract period is for six years commencing August 2023.

The concession scope includes end-to-end management of the advertising portfolio across a variety of sites that are located within the airport’s terminals, retail centres and road network.

Perth Airport noted that with more than 95% of visitors to Western Australia arriving by air, it is “uniquely placed” to connect brands with multiple high-value audience segments

The airport company said it is looking for a partner which can deliver “a high-quality, innovative, and commercially-strong advertising portfolio”.

Perth Airport Chief Commercial Officer Kate Holsgrove told The Moodie Davitt Report: “Despite the challenges of COVID, we’ve continued to invest in developing the Perth Airport estate, improving customer experience and delivering innovative commercial partnerships.

In addition to advertising media inside the terminals, Perth Airport also has multiple external media sites

“This includes introducing new technology, new fixed link aerobridges, security screening equipment upgrades, new and expanded car park facilities, numerous retail and industrial developments, and the award-winning Aspire International Lounge.”

Holsgrove said that this investment provides “new and exciting opportunities” across the estate for a dynamic advertising concession partner.

She added: “As Western Australia continues to reconnect with the world, Perth Airport is a great environment for brands to inspire a vibrant and engaged audience.
