US. The City of Philadelphia has issued a Request for Proposals for the development and operation of the advertising business at Philadelphia International Airport. The contract will run for seven years.
The City said it would enter into an agreement with one and possibly two candidates for the management of its advertising concession(s).
It noted: “The City seeks to enter into a concession agreement with Selected Proposer(s) to develop, install, manage and operate comprehensive, innovative and creative Airport Advertising Program(s).
“Proposers are encouraged to submit proposals that include, but are not limited to, modern advertising concepts such as website advertising, and utilization of state of the art advertising display mediums such as digital signs, electronic posters, dioramas, wall, window and jetbridge wraps, exhibits, kiosks, outdoor and indoor banners, electronic media and network programming services.”
The bid deadline is 28 October. Philadelphia Airport handled 30.7 million passengers in 2010.
