Philip Stein is targeting further expansion in travel retail with its Sleep Bracelet (pictured), which utilises Natural Frequency Technology developed to improve the quality of sleep.
Citing a survey conducted recently by the National Sleep Foundation, Philip Stein noted that a striking +23% of airline pilots admitted that lack of sleep affects their performance at least once a week. The long lines at airport security, delays in flights, different time zones, cramped seating and the stress of flying have also resulted in many travellers becoming overly anxious and sleep deprived.
With the proprietary Natural Frequency Technology inside the Philip Stein Sleep Bracelet tuned to pick up natural frequencies that are believed to improve quality of sleep, the company believes that the product is a “perfect fit” for travellers and crew members.
“We are very excited about expanding our marketing into travel and tourism as we see a natural synergy between our products and how travel affects sleep,” said Philip Stein founder Will Stein.
“The Sleep Bracelet’s key component is the Natural Frequency Technology, which is fine tuned like an antenna to channel beneficial natural frequencies to help you sleep better. It is also engineered for total comfort with an ultra-soft, skin friendly, hypo-allergenic micro-fiber band.”
The unisex bracelet is already listed with long-haul carriers Lufthansa, SWISS, KLM, Emirates, Etihad Airways, Singapore Airlines and British Airways, selling for US$300 inflight.
Philip Stein has also boosted its partnership with select airlines with the newly launched Crew Voucher Program, which provides inflight crew members with a special price on the product.
