UAE. Ras Al Khaimah International Airport yesterday (2 September) celebrated the reopening of its RAK Duty Free business.
The airport company runs its duty free (arrivals, departures and transit) in-house. International travel retailer Flemingo has the supply contract and managed the shop renovation.
Ras Al Khaimah International Airport LLC CEO Sanjay Khanna delivered the inauguration speech at a ceremony attended by His Excellency Sheikh Salem bin Sultan Al Qasimi, the Flemingo team, brand partners and local VIPS.
Ras Al Khaimah International operates passenger and cargo services to a variety of destinations in Europe, the Middle East, North & East Africa, Central Asia and the sub-continent. It is a growing tourism destination with increasing flight connections (mainly charter) to Europe in particular.
