SWITZERLAND. Swiss suncare specialist Piz Buin has launched its comprehensive 2008 range of tanning products, including a special pack for travellers.
The new, hi-tech formulas contain the latest innovation from Piz Buin called Helioplex, which is now being introduced into the full line of In-Sun and Mountain Range products.
Helioplex is described as a scientifically-proven stable formula responding to the need for long-lasting protection against both UVA and UVB rays.
Highlights of the 2008 line-up are:
Sunsmart Travellers Pack: The pack contains four stylish, coloured sunbands and 4 x 50ml SPF 20 lotions. The product is claimed to give photostable UVA/UVB protection, moisturising action, vitamin E to protect against free radicals and has a water-resistant formula.
Piz Buin Tan Intensifier: Said to enable faster tanning and deep UVA/UVB protection, the new product combines Melitan, to help enhance natural tanning, with the exclusive Helioplex UVA/UVB photostable sun filter technology. The water-resistant dry oil is said to nourish the skin and help prevent peeling, while vitamin E helps protection from free radicals. Available as a 150ml lotion (SPF 6, 15, 30), 150ml spray (SPF 6, 15, 30) and 150ml dry oil (SPF 6, 10).
Piz Buin In Sun: A UVA/UVB active protection against premature skin ageing, the 200ml lotion is available in SPF 6, 10, 15, 20, 30 and 50+. Also offered as a spray with SPF 6, 10,15, 20 and 30.
Piz Buin Allergy: The water-resistant 200ml lotion is available in SPF 10, 15, 30 and 50+ and contains calming Amanduline to help soothe irritated skin, with Vitamin E to protect against free radicals.
Piz Buin Duo: The exclusive, two-in-one convenience pack comprises a combination of 300ml lotions with SPF 6/15 and SPF 10/20. One is designed for use during your first days in the sun, while the other is for tanned skin.
Piz Buin Radiant Face: Specially developed with dermatologists for the face and neck area, the cream provides a mineral complex to revitalise skin throughout the day and contains active hydrators to stop the skin from drying out. The 40ml Radiant Face Cream offers SPF 6, 15, 30 and 50+.
