Plaza Premium Group names Bora Isbulan as Deputy Chief Executive

Plaza Premium Group extended its European portfolio with a new lounge at London Gatwick last October; its target is to open at the 100 busiest airports in the world, with Bora Isbulan spearheading business development first as Chief Commercial Officer and now as Deputy Chief Executive

HONG KONG. Leading airport hospitality services company Plaza Premium Group (PPG) has promoted Bora İşbulan to the role of Deputy CEO. He will lead PPG’s global expansion plan and the execution of its business transformation strategy.

İşbulan joined PPG as Chief Commercial Officer in 2020, and is spearheading its strategic target to expand its global airport presence from 180 lounges to over 500 by 2024/25. In his new capacity, he will be taking on a greater leadership role across the company, with responsibility for creating a wider global network via strategic consolidation and alliances. This is aimed at ensuring PPG and its services are present at the 100 busiest airports worldwide.

In leading PPG’s business development, İşbulan has helped extend its global network and developed strategic partnerships in EMEA, India, Latin America and the USA. Under the group’s business transformation strategy, he led the team to re-engineer its travel demand strategy by reassessing the needs of the industry and direct consumers.

He has also been centrally involved in delivering the group’s ‘Build Back Better’ mission post-pandemic, as well as its digital transformation.
