ITALY. Plaza Premium Group (PPG) has unveiled its second lounge at Rome Fiumicino International Airport. Located in the Terminal 1 Schengen Area, the 400sq m facility accommodates up to 76 guests, and adds to an existing location in Terminal 3.

The lounge – which PPG said offers “a luxurious and refined experience to modern travellers”– is divided into different zones with design inspired by the beauty of Italian culture, art and architecture.
The facility has a manned buffet area/bar where freshly-made international dishes are offer. Shower rooms are also available.
PPG Senior Vice President EMEA Okan Kufeci said: “The launch of our second lounge at Leonardo da Vinci-Fiumicino Airport in Rome represents a significant milestone in our regional expansion plan and positive sign for post-pandemic recovery.

The lounge is accessible to all travellers regardless of airline or class of travel without pre-booking.
