CANADA. Plaza Premium Lounge has expanded its network in Canada with the opening of its 11th airport pay-in lounge, at Toronto Pearson International Airport.
Located at the International Departure Hall at Terminal 3, the 6,178sq ft lounge is said to be the largest among its sister lounges in Toronto, Edmonton and Vancouver in Canada.
With a seating capacity of approximately 180 guests, the flagship lounge includes some of the company’s signature features: comfortable lounge chairs, a mother-of-pearl reception counter, New Zealand wool carpet and an oval crystal chandelier designed by Hong Kong designer Kinney Chan.
Plaza Premium Lounge Management Limited Founder and CEO Song Hoi See said: “We’re delighted to introduce our Toronto flagship lounge to Canada. This pay-in lounge is one-of-a-kind and designed and considered based on our vast experience in designing finest class VIP lounges. We’ve come a long way since our first step into North America eight years ago when we first opened in Vancouver.”
Song added that the company’s pay-in lounge concept breaks the conventional mould of how an airport lounge operates. “Gone are the days where lounge facilities are the bare minimum comfort with scant offerings. At Plaza Premium Lounge, travellers can while away their time away in a comfortable environment with first-class service and luxury lounge facilities all tailored to their travelling needs during their airport wait,” he said.

“We continuously raise the bar by progressively adding innovative features and services in our lounge, as we continuously strive to exceed the expectations of travellers. I’m very proud to introduce our new concept to Toronto Pearson International Airport and I believe our service will add a whole new dimension to the travel experience,” he added.
The food menu in the new lounge has been enhanced to introduce an interactive food experience, the company said. Aside from the all-day continental buffet offerings and hot dishes, it has also introduced a noodle bar serving Beef and Squid Meat Balls with Rice Noodles in Homemade Broth. The beverage menu features a list of hot and cold coffee and tea specialties; beer, wine, spirits and for the first time at the airport, Red Espresso drinks, a range of premium rooibos tea rich in antioxidants and free of caffeine, served in the same variations that coffee is made.
Business travellers can also stay connected with high-speed Wi-Fi or take advantage of the computer workstations with internet access. A meeting room with a seating capacity of six people is also available for business meetings or private gatherings. Advance booking is required for using the meeting room. The lounge comes complete with a shower room with all required amenities, for those who need to freshen up at the airport.
The new airport pay-in lounge will be opened from 5am-11pm daily. The lounge use package is priced at CDN$30 + tax for two hours; and CDN$35 + tax for three hours.
