Porsche Design has teamed up with Chester Bennington, lead vocalist for alternative rock band Linkin Park, to create a menswear capsule collection launching in June 2014.
The six-piece collection, titled Chester Bennington for Porsche Design, is said to combine Bennington’s eclectic alt rock style with Porsche Design’s minimalist brand aesthetic. It will retail exclusively at Porsche Design stores worldwide.
“I’ve always loved fashion and had a deep appreciation for quality design,” said Bennington. “The sleek approach of Porsche Design’s craftsmanship is unparalleled. This collaboration has been a dream come true, and I’m really excited to show what we’ve created together.”
Porsche Design Group CEO Juergen Gessler commented: “Chester is the epitome of modern rock, yet is a man of discerning taste with a strong passion for iconic design and excellent craftsmanship, two attributes that are synonymous with our brand.”
The highlight of the capsule collection will be an exclusive leather motocross jacket, made of black vintage calf leather. Additional pieces include slim cut black coated denim, boots, a travel bag, sunglasses and a limited edition T-shirt. The line will be priced between US$109 and US$1,950.
