GERMANY. The Porsche Design Group, in partnership with Bizi Art Shop GmbH Zimmermann, has opened a franchise store in Frankfurt Airport, which at 145 sq m is said to be the largest Porsche Design franchise store at any airport in the world.
The new store, located on the second level of Hall B, offers a wide range of Porsche Design products, from watches and pens to fashion goods and the new mobile phone.
The shop is designed to support premium products by Porsche Design and to communicate the idea and philosophy of the brand. Natural materials such as smoked oak are combined with innovative hi-tech materials to provide a sense of contrast.

“As our target group travels a lot and more and more high quality products are being sold at airports, it is important for us to be present in Germany’s biggest airport,” said Porsche Design Chairman Jürgen Geßler.
“We have been working successfully with Porsche Design for many years now and are pleased to be able to open the biggest Porsche Design Store in the world at the airport,” said Bizi Art Shop GmbH Zimmermann CEO Barbara Deters.
“We are convinced that the technically inspired men’s accessories by Porsche Design will be an excellent addition to the range of products at Frankfurt airport,” she enthused.
Porsche Design has been continuously expanding its activities at airports since 2004. It now has outlets at international airports such as Munich, Vienna, London, Moscow, Dubai and Hong Kong. New store openings have also been planned for Zurich, Copenhagen and Manchester next year.
Porsche Design also has retail stores in Germany in Berlin, Leipzig and Hamburg. In September, a 50 sq m shop-in-shop was opened in Munich in the Ludwig Beck department store. Porsche Design is also present in KaDeWe in Berlin.
