

FRANCE. Prada Beauty, part of L’Oréal Groupe, recently opened a permanent beauty counter at Samaritaine Paris in partnership with DFS Group.
The counter highlights the brand’s complete skincare, makeup and fragrance lines and is a first for Prada Beauty in France.
It is dressed in Prada’s signature mint green shade and features black and white chequered floors, all key motifs of the luxury house.
In addition to the newly launched Prada Skin and Prada Color collections, key fragrance franchises such as Prada Paradoxe, Prada Luna Rossa, Prada Les Infusions and Prada Olfactories are also offered.

Prada Beauty: Re-inventing skin and colour


Prada Beauty collections have been designed following an ‘avant-garde’ vision of beauty driven by technology and creativity, said the brand owner.
Prada Beauty’s skincare range, Prada Skin, is designed to help skin adapt to environmental changes. It offers everything from a cleanser and serum to a foundation, which delivers skin-boosting benefits. The skin’s ability to renew, regenerate and reinforce itself is augmented with Prada’s Adapto.gn Smart Technology, a complex that helps skin adapt to its environment in real-time.
Prada Color takes inspiration from archival looks from Prada’s runway shows. It comprises the Prada Monochrome Hyper Matte Durable Weightless Lip Color and Soft Matte Buildable Weightless Lip Color, the Prada Balm Lip Optimizing Care, and the Prada Dimensions Durable Multi-Effect Eyeshadow range.
The matte lipstick collections draw directly from Prada’s first ready-to-wear runway show in 1988, while other products draw from Prada’s extensive fashion archives, which holds over 27,000 textiles and patterns.
Prada Color is tech-augmented and powered by Prada’s exclusive Smart Tech-XTures technology. The technology provides hyper-flexible, blendable, breathable yet durable wear with skincare benefits. The collection brings digitally created colours to life through rich pigments in an experimental spectrum of shades.
