IWSC accolade: Prince Hubert de Polignac VS Cognac wins Gold Medal “˜Best in Class’

FRANCE. Cognac producer H. Mounier has added to its award tally with new medals for Prince Hubert de Polignac Cognacs at the 2008 International Wine & Spirit Competition (IWSC).

The company’s VS Cognac won Gold Medal “˜Best in Class’. “Getting this award proves that the quality of our VS Polignac remains exceptional despite a current context of pressured supply of young eaux-de-vie,” said Prince Hubert de Polignac Marketing Director Carole Frugier.

Réserve Grande Champagne received the Silver Medal “˜Best in Class’. “Already awarded several times, the Réserve Polignac is again this year among the best Cognacs in the competition,” said Frugier.

She described the Prince Hubert de Polignac brand as “maintaining a great authenticity, delivering Cognacs outstandingly full, mellow and well balanced”.

In 2007, the brand received the distinction of Best Cognac of the year at the IWSC.
