Prince Hubert de Polignac unveils fresh branding

Prince Hubert de Polignac – the Cognac house with the ‘noble by name, noble by spirit’ tagline – has unveiled a new look.

The brand refresh includes a ‘decanter-carafe’ bottle, which, according to Prince Hubert de Polignac, highlights the Polignac family lineage and underlines its values of perseverance, protection and prosperity.

Prince Hubert de Polignac CEO Anthony Perera said: “Since our House was founded in 1947, our hearts and minds have held these values dear and as we head out in a new direction, we will continue to embody this proud royal style.”

Born in 1918, Prince Hubert de Polignac was regarded as a man of culture and diplomacy as well as French Foreign Trade Counsellor.

He created the Cognac house in 1947 and earned the support of notable figures at the time, including French president René Coty and King Frederick IX of Denmark, who granted the brand a royal warrant.

Today Prince Hubert de Polignac Cognac incorporates the expertise of 120 winegrowers and 80 distillers, working with Ugni Blanc, Colombard, and Folle Blanche grape varieties.

Prince Hubert de Polignac was acquired by Hong Kong investment fund Asia Turbo International in 2019. Its VS, VSOP and XO expressions, all with 40% ABV, are available in domestic markets in France and China and in travel retail.

In a statement, Price Hubert de Polignac said it aimed to expand further into the European market and to the USA and Russia.
