FRANCE. Family-owned fragrance company Puig has teamed up with Extime Duty Free (the joint venture between Lagardère Travel Retail and Groupe ADP) to host a L’Artisan Parfumeur pop-up at Paris Charles de Gaulle (CDG) Airport. The long-term 27 sq m pop-up is located in Terminal 2F.
The L’Artisan Parfumeur ‘Craftsmanship à la Française’ pop-up is a brand first in Europe travel retail, underscoring Puig’s commitment to becoming a key player in niche fragrances.
The animation offers an immersive olfactory experience centred around L’Artisan Parfumeur’s French heritage and savoir-faire.

At the pop-up, travellers can enjoy an elevated shopping experience with plenty of personalisation opportunities. Travellers are able to have their fragrance bottles engraved with a custom message and receive leather tags as gifts with purchases. They can also purchase leather coffrets embossed with their initials.
The experience is completed with the brand’s premium gift-wrapping services where products are wrapped with dried flowers, a leather cord and a wax seal, referencing a traditional craftsman’s stamp of authenticity.

The storytelling-centric pop-up highlights several of the brand’s best-selling lines with a special focus on the new Soleil de Provence scent. Soleil de Provence is a sparkling summer scent centred around Mimosa and blended with notes of Benzoin and Ylang Ylang.
To support the animation, L’Artisan Parfumeur has launched its first-ever digital campaign at the airport.
The campaign, designed to create a seamless omnichannel journey, engages with travellers pre-, during and post-trip via Instagram, Facebook and programmatic digital advertising.
The brand is also running influencer activities to broadcast the L’Artisan Parfumeur fragrance experience live from the pop-up.
All of the pop-up elements are being showcased on the influencers’ social media. These include fragrance discovery, bottle engraving, gift wrapping and a special tea-tasting, which is inspired by various fragrance notes.

“The long-term pop-up at one of Europe’s busiest airports, and the home city of the brand, marks an exciting step in L’Artisan Parfumeur’s global development,” commented Puig Executive Vice President Global Travel Retail Kaatje Noens.
“Together with Lagardère Travel Retail, we are committed to growing the niche fragrance category in the long term and invite travellers to discover L’Artisan Parfumeur’s artisanal values in our elegant boutique.”
Craftsmanship à la Française
L’Artisan Parfumeur’s classic fragrances have remained unchanged throughout its 40-year history.
Over the years, the brand has collaborated with over 26 different perfumers allowing them the creative freedom to interpret nature through various signature scents. This spirit is inherited from brand Founder Jean Laporte’s own fragrance craftsmanship heritage. ✈
