Puma belts up with Virgin Atlantic – 03/12/07

UK. Puma and Virgin Atlantic Airways are teaming up for the inflight launch of the German sports lifestyle brand’s Urban Mobility collection.

The Urban Mobility X-Ray belt, from the Autumn/Winter 2007 collection, will be featured in Virgin Atlantic’s Retail Therapy inflight magazine and available to order on all Virgin Atlantic flights from November 2007 to April 2008.

In addition, a special Puma Urban Mobility product display will go into Virgin Atlantic’s Clubhouse at London Heathrow Airport to showcase the complete collection.

Puma introduced Urban Mobility as a venture into the premium accessories category, a brand new market segment for the brand.

The collection was created with the needs of the globetrotting city dweller in mind and focuses on functional and fashionable designs.

The X-Ray Belt comes in two sizes. Constructed using no metal parts and wide wooden buckle allows for easy movement through airport security searches and ensures no removal is necessary. (You may still have to take your shoes off, the company says.)
