The 140sq m airside store in Brussels Airport Terminal A showcases Puma’s sports lifestyle collections |
BELGIUM. Puma has opened a new owned and operated airport concept store at Brussels Airport.
The shop is located airside in Terminal A and showcases Puma’s sports lifestyle collections over 140sq m. It features the same design as the brand’s recently opened airport concept stores in Copenhagen and Düsseldorf.
The design elements are based on Puma’s new concept store design, which is adapted to the needs of the airport retail environment. Due to the lack of storage space, extra drawers are included.
The design features a flexible modern concept, where all of the fixtures are mounted on the walls, laid on the floor or suspended from the ceiling. The modular design contains various elements that can be mixed and matched in different ways, giving each store the opportunity to create its own individual style.
The assortment was carefully selected, keeping the needs of travellers in mind and in serving them with an unforgettable shopping experience, the company said. The store will feature Puma’s Sportlifestyle and Sport Fashion collections of footwear, apparel and accessories.
Said Puma Global Travel Retail Manager Thomas Henningsen: “We are excited about opening our third directly-operated store at Brussels Airport. We believe in Brussels Airport’s vision of creating a shopping environment catering to the needs of cosmopolitan travellers. We will create an authentic Puma shopping environment where we will be retailing innovative concepts such as Puma Golf, Motorsport, Evisu/Puma and Urban Mobility.
“These collections have proven highly successful in our other airport concept stores and reflect how travelling customers crave new products and brands. Puma brings together sport, fashion and lifestyle, a truly unique combination which is refreshing and new to airport retailing,” he said.
Brussels Airport Head of Shopping Etienne Defour commented: “Brussels Airport is delighted to welcome Puma in the new shopping mall at our A pier. The Puma brand perfectly integrates in the retail development strategy of Brussels Airport. We aim to broaden our retail offer by adding renowned international brands that match the profile of our passengers. The unique features of the Puma brand will be a strong asset to our new shopping experience.”
