Pure Altitude debuts Bio-Organic beauty line – 03/03/09

Inspired by the natural mountain environment: Pure Altitude Bio-Organic products do not contain parabens, silicone, petrochemical-derived oils or raw materials of animal origin

FRANCE. French beauty brand Pure Altitude has introduced a range of certified organic skincare products made from mountain plants.

The launch of this ultra-natural product range follows the roll-out of the Ferme de Beauté cosmetics line almost 20 years ago.

The new range of Pure Altitude Bio-Organic products do not contain parabens, silicone, petrochemical-derived oils or raw materials of animal origin. They have Ecocert certification for ecological and organic products and are tested dermatologically with scientifically proven results.
The ingredients, which include edelweiss, maca root, antarcticine and birch sap, are grown and extracted in an environmentally-friendly way with fertiliser-free cultivation and traditions. Even the edelweiss flower is hand-picked.

The dermo-cosmetic skincare products are said to target intensive regeneration of the skin and a radiant skin tone. The range comprises:

Flower Spray 125ml (retail price: €26)
Flower Micellar Foaming Cleanser 150ml (€28)
Hydra-Regenerating Emulsion 40ml (€65)
Nutri-Regenerating Emulsion 40ml (€65)
Ultra-Regenerating Cream 40ml (€69)
Elixir with Maca Root 30ml (€72).

“Pure Altitude is replying to a strong current need for natural, authentic products made in both an ethical and environmentally friendly manner, with our unique Bio-Organic range of organic cosmetic products derived from mountain flowers,” Pure Altitude founder Jocelyne Sibuet told The Moodie Report at the 2008 TFWA World Exhibition in Cannes, where the company exhibited its product range.

The face of the new Bio-Organic line is Marie Sibuet, who is involved in the Pure Altitude family cosmetics business.

About the Pure Altitude cosmetics brand

The Ferme de Beauté skincare line was originally established in 2000 by Jocelyne Sibuet at the Ferme de Beauté spa located in the Fermes de Marie hotel in the ultra-chic ski resort of Megève in the French Alps. The Ferme de Beauté, now named the Pure Altitude Spa, is developed around five fundamental elements – stone, wood, water, fire and earth – and aims to use the beneficial effects the mountains. Pure Altitude is based on natural active ingredients with fruity fragrances, to meet the needs of fragile and damaged skin. Pure Altitude products are available at Printemps, Galeries Lafayette and BHV in France (Paris) and in selected chemists and drugstores internationally.
