AUSTRALIA. Qantas Airways has reported a slight increase in total passenger numbers in November 2003 compared to the same month the previous year.
Australia’s largest airline said passenger numbers for its international, domestic and regional operations increased to 2.5 million, compared to 2.47 million in November 2002.
However it also reported a -0.9% decline in total passengers carried for the financial year to date, down to 12.53 million from 12.64 million previously. International passengers were down -1.5% to 718,000.
