The ultra-premium flacon of Baldessarini Del Mar Prestige | |
FRANCE. P&G Prestige, the license holder for Baldessarini by Hugo Boss, has selected Denis Boudard, President and Founder of QSLD, to design its new, ultra-premium fragrance bottle, Baldessarini Del Mar Prestige.
The limited-edition scent is said to be the ultimate addition to every Baldessarini man’s collection.
The flacon of Baldessarini Del Mar Prestige features Zamac, a material used in yacht construction. The bottle weighs over 700g, making it one of the world’s heaviest. Special processing techniques were used.
“Baldessarini is the quintessential premium men’s fragrance [and] I wanted to create a design that reflected this feeling of haute couture, which the Baldessarini line embodies,” Boudard explained. “The elite collector’s item has an unrivalled desirability, placing Baldessarini Del Mar Prestige in a class of its own.”
ABOUT QSLD
QSLD, founded by Denis Boudard and associates in 1993, has been at the centre of the French luxury scene for more than a decade and is now gaining ground in the US. Recently Boudard was named as the designer of the new FiFi Award Trophy.
The US branch, called QSLD New World Inc, specialises in developing bottles and outer packaging that help luxury brands to reach their target markets. It designs for fine fragrances, as well as for premium spirits and Champagnes. Projects to date include Puma, Lacoste, Lancôme, Escada, Hugo Boss/Baldessarini, Chopard, Isabella Rossellini and most recently Esprit, Ann Taylor and Perry Ellis.
