UK fashion and accessories brand Radley London is set to strengthen its worldwide travel retail presence with a number of new openings in partnership with Dufry.
Radley will make its Canadian debut this month at Vancouver Airport. There, the brand will launch the first gold edition of its Global Travel Retail unit and its SS18 collection, which includes a Travel Retail Exclusive Collection.
Radley’s SS18 Travel Exclusive Collection includes ziptop multiway, hobo, tote and acrossbody bags, purses, passport covers and pouches. Products come in travel-inspired Set Sail and Plane Spotting prints.

Radley will also open branded corners at Madeira Airport and Varna Airport, Bulgaria in December. The 2.15sq m space at Madeira Airport will feature a collection of 53 handbags and accessories.
In early 2018, Radley will enter the US market with an opening at Seattle-Tacoma Airport. Further early 2018 openings include Greece’s Rhodes and Heraklion airports.
In May 2018, the brand will launch at Faro Airport, with the same collection of products as Madeira Airport.
These openings build on Radley’s double-digit growth in travel retail in 2017. The brand said it recorded “huge success” in the cruise sector due to its ongoing partnership with Harding Retail.

Radley has designed several furniture concepts for global travel retail. Unit features include a full length mirror, drawer cabinet with freestanding coin purse display and rotating hanging units.
Radley London International Travel Retail Manager Hayley Lyttel said: “Our new GTR unit and location launches, with two key industry debuts, demonstrate the ongoing strength and investment in our travel retail business. It’s been a pleasure working with Dufry and all our valued partners and extending our global presence with them.
“The openings in December and January only give us further confidence in our investments and plans. Especially, Seattle (Concourse A and the South Terminal main store) which are set to open in early 2018. This US opening – our first in the country – complements the business’s recent phenomenal success launching in Macys and QVC USA and we’re very excited to see where it takes us as a business next.”

In other news, Radley has teamed up with the UK’s largest dog welfare charity, Dogs Trust, to launch a dog walking backpack and matching coin purses. 15% of the sale price from each Radley London x Dogs Trust item goes directly to Dogs Trust and will help the 15,000 homeless dogs cared for by the charity each year.
The Radley London x Dogs Trust backpack features a removable drawstring bag for dog treats, two elasticated side pockets, a waterproof internal pocket and additional front back and internal compartments.

The Radley London x Dogs Trust collection also includes four collectable leather coin purses featuring appliqué designs inspired by some of the dogs cared for by Dogs Trust.
The backpack (£99) and the coin purses (£32) are available now at radley.co.uk and in-store.
