The ground-breaking O2 Spa facility at Hyderabad Rajiv Gandhi International Airport | |
INDIA. Rajiv Gandhi International Airport (RGIA) has introduced spa facilities for passengers, in a bid to relax mind, body and soul before flying.
The O2 Spa facility is said to offer a wide range of first-rate treatments in an elegant setting. A highlight is India’s first Fish Reflexology Center.
Fish Reflexology is described as a unique and revitalising therapy, which includes a foot massage.
Feet are placed in a warm pool, to be nibbled on by a shoal of Turkish Garra Rufa fish. The fish consume only dead skin, leaving feet smoother and healthier.
The O2 Spa also offers more traditional treatments – all said to be reasonably priced – such as massages, pedicures, manicures and facials.

GHIAL Chief Commercial Officer Viswanath Attaluri commented: “With the opening of the new spa, we are now offering passengers another opportunity to enhance their [travelling] experience.
