RedDog Design builds travel retail presence with latest airline listing

Handbag and accessory brand RedDog Design has announced a new listing onboard Fiji Airways as it continues to build its presence in the travel retail channel.

Created by Swedish designer Marianne Sparrenius-Waters, RedDog’s range of leather products is said to combine Scandinavian minimalist chic with a hint of British flair. The brand entered the fashion scene in 2009 when Sparrenius-Waters saw a gap in the market for practical, luxury British-designed organisers and clutches.

Besides Fiji Airways, RedDog is also listed on Air Tahiti Nui, Philippines Airlines, Tigerair Singapore, Cebu Pacific Air, Miat Mongolian Airlines, Birman Bangladesh Airlines, Druk Air, Tigerair Philippines, Myanmar Airways, and Air Vanuatu. Negotiations are currently underway with several others, the brand added.

On the domestic front, RedDog has announced that its canvas BagPod is now available in 32 John Lewis stores across the UK, while its luxury leather BagPod will be stocked in the top 11 stores.

“This is such a great achievement for RedDog and I am absolutely delighted that John Lewis will be stocking our BagPod. I am thrilled that all the hard work and dedication I’ve put into my designs and products have been recognised by such a prestigious retailer as John Lewis,” said Sparrenius-Waters.

John Lewis Junior Buyer Handbags and Small Leather Goods Livia Williams added: “The RedDog BagPod combines style with functionality. It has helped me to organise my life in style and I hope it will do the same for our customers.”
