SWITZERLAND. The new-look Sprüngli Café-Bar has been unveiled at Zurich Airport after an extensive redesign and refurbishment project.

Operated by Confiserie Sprüngli, which has a nearby store, the 285sq m venue is situated in the centre of the airport’s landside shopping area and now has an expanded 80-seat capacity.
Guests can enjoy breakfasts, homemade baked goods and canapés and a bar offering coffee, soft drinks, spirits, wines and cocktails.
Zurich Airport Head Commercial Centers Heidi Köpple told The Moodie Davitt Report: “We have done a major refresh of the existing café. Changes were made in the furniture, cladding of the bar and overall appearance, as well as a few minor repairs and adapations.
“Being located at the heart of the shopping area and one of the busiest passenger areas at Zurich Airport, the Sprüngli Café-Bar expresses the tradition and elegance of the brand.
“We want to welcome both local and international guests to sit down and try Confiserie Sprüngli’s homemade and well-renowned specialties in a comfortable surrounding of the highest quality.”
