Rémy Cointreau has named David William Dang as Managing Director Global Travel Retail (GTR) APAC. He joins with a strong track record in building global brands in the spirits, fragrance and luxury industries.
Dang’s most recent role was as Diageo Regional Director Southeast Asia, Luxury Division, where he spent two years leading the expansion of brands including Johnnie Walker and Don Julio Tequila across the region.
Prior to joining Diageo, he worked in senior roles for 19 years at LVMH, including leadership positions within the fragrance and liquor divisions. Dang had responsibility for brands including Kenzo, Givenchy and Moët Hennessy in multiple Asian markets, including Taiwan, Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand, Vietnam, Indonesia and The Philippines.
His new role follows the appointment earlier this year of Thibault Robert as Rémy Cointreau Managing Director GTR EMEA & Americas. Both report to GTR CEO Fida Bou Chabke.
