Rémy Cointreau to launch Mount Gay Rum Eclipse at IAADFS

Mount Gay Rum Eclipse

Rémy Cointreau Travel Retail Americas will launch its second Mount Gay Rum Eclipse limited edition at the IAADFS show (booth 113) in Orlando later this month.

This limited line in the Mount Gay Rum nautical signal flag series evokes the company’s sailing traditions. Its bright blue Mount Gay Eclipse “G” limited edition sleeve is scheduled to be released in early summer 2012 and is expected to create an eye-catching display in the Americas and at airports around the world.

The first such nautical limited-edition, Mount Gay Rum Eclipse “M” was released in August in various global travel retail locations and priced at parity with the standard Mount Gay Eclipse Rum.

About Mount Gay Rum

Mount Gay Rum was founded in the early 1700s and became known throughout the sailing community when sailors brought back a cask of rum from the New World as proof of their passage across the Atlantic to Europe.

It goes through two different distillation processes before ageing in Kentucky oak barrels. It is blended by the Master Blender Allen Smith.

The Mount Gay Rum portfolio includes 1703 Old Cask Selection, Extra Old, Eclipse, Eclipse Black and Eclipse Silver.
