Rémy Martin is celebrating the opening of its first stand‐alone boutique in Hainan, China.
As reported, the boutique is part of the new Premium Wines & Spirits Gallery at Shenzhen Duty Free Haikou Mission Hills Duty Free City.
In a LinkedIn post, parent company Rémy Cointreau said: “Celebrating the essence of French excellence, the boutique marks the long-standing relationship between Rémy Martin and China, where it has been exporting Cognacs since the 1880s.
“The House of Rémy Martin launched its retail dynamic five years ago with the Louis XIII boutiques. With its first boutique worldwide, the Rémy Martin brand is joining this dynamic and opening a new era.”
“The opening of Rémy Martin’s boutique in Haikou is a milestone for us. With this boutique, we hope to optimise our multi-channel consumption matrix in China, as well as keep delivering diversified brand experiences to our consumers,” commented Rémy Cointreau Greater China CEO Nicolas Beckers.
