Rémy Martin X.O Excellence |
FRANCE. Rémy Martin Fine Champagne Cognac is to unveil new presentations for XO Excellence and XO Premier Cru at TFWA World Exhibition later in the month.
A new “luxurious and contemporary” XO Excellence box sees the addition of a red illuminator and increased emphasis on the Rémy Martin centaur – said to highlight the superior quality of the product. The gold-coloured stopper has also been reworked and the words “˜Fine Champagne Cognac’ inscribed on the gold neck of the bottle.
The XO Premier Cru pack has been transformed from a dark understated box into a golden case, designed to “denote the true value of this unique gift.” The stopper has been updated to a more rounded design, with “˜Grande Champagne Cognac’ on the neck.
Both will be on display at the Maxxium stand (Marine Village Foyer 1).
“These new presentations for X.O Excellence and X.O Premier Cru underline our commitment to quality and style,” explained Rémy Cointreau Asia Travel Retail Director Walter Kooijman.
He added: “We have been delighted to receive a Silver Award for our Heart of Cognac promotions in the Promotion Marketing Awards of Asia 2006. This reinforces our view that our investment in superior packaging, innovative promotions and first-class merchandising, which are all integrated to present a uniform image worldwide, will reinforce the quality, heritage and value message of Rémy Martin Fine Champagne Cognac in global markets.”
XO Excellence is described as “a superior premium cognac blended from eaux-de-vie made from the grapes of the two most sought after vineyards in the Heart of Cognac region, which have been aged for far longer than required by law to produce an opulent aroma, a velvet texture and an intense lingering taste.”
XO Premier Cru, a travel retail exclusive, is said to have a more intense flavour, attributed to “the refined blend of eaux-de-vie derived from the most sought after vineyards in the Cognac region which are aged for decades to reach perfect maturity.”
