Rendek takes over at Nuance North America

US. Roger Dunbar, CEO The Nuance Group North America, is leaving the company in order to take up a new challenge outside the travel retail industry the group announced today. He will be succeeded by Richard Rendek, currently CFO The Nuance Group North America, as from 12 March. In this new function, he will be reporting directly to the president & CEO of The Nuance Group.

Richard Rendek (pictured) has a proven track record in finance, economics and management in multinational corporations. He has several years of retail experience in the North American market, most recently with HDS Retail North America, a part of Hachette Distribution Services. Rendek joined Nuance in December 2003.

Peter Petersen, president & CEO The Nuance Group said he regretted to see Roger Dunbar leave: “Ever since he joined Nuance in August 2000, Roger has been a valuable member of our management team, and we wish him the best of luck for his new challenges and his personal life.

“Over the past few months, Richard Rendek has demonstrated both a profound know-how of the industry and leadership skills. We are pleased to have him in our team.”

Rendek is interviewed in the next edition of The Moodie Report quarterly, out later this month.
