Revlon previews new additions to Unforgettable Journeys

Revlon’s Grow Luscious Mascara will be featured in the Unforgettable Journeys collection from 2011


US. Revlon previewed a number of additions to its Unforgettable Journeys travel retail exclusive collection at last month’s TFWA World Exhibition.

Eyes and lips were the focus, as the brand presented new sets featuring mascara, Colorstay eye shadow and Colorburst lipstick.

In 2011, Revlon will introduce its Grow Luscious Mascara to the channel. The product is claimed to help lashes grow stronger while visibly adding length and volume. A duo set, complete with gwp eyeliner, has been created exclusively for travel retail. A similar set has also been created for Revlon’s DoubleTwist Mascara.

Also new for eyes in the Colorstay 12 Hour Palette, comprising eight Colorstay eye shadows, a mirror and applicators. It is priced at around US$22.

Lastly, for lips, Revlon will introduce a four-pack of its new ColorBurst lipstick, which is said to deliver luxurious, rich colour that feels virtually weightless. The set will retail at around US$35.

Revlon confirmed it had experienced very positive sell-out this year, both on-airport and inflight.

“We are seeing strong recovery across all regions since the lows of mid-2009,” Revlon Global Travel Retail Managing Director Art Miller told The Moodie Report. “We are seeing a lot of optimism within the industry; importantly, the sentiment is favourable for momentum to continue through 2011.”
