Rising star Benjamin Luzuy creates menu for Geneva Airport restaurant

Different spaces: Le Chef features a bar, restaurant, lounge, outside terrace and private rooms

SWITZERLAND. The revamped Altitude restaurant is to open at Geneva Airport at the end of February, with a menu created by chef Benjamin Luzuy. It will be managed by Autogrill Suisse.

Renovation work started yesterday (11 January) at the site. As well as the new menu the refurbished concept – which will be called Le Chef – will feature a new contemporary interior. It is the latest in a series of food & drinks openings at the airport.

Located on the third floor of the public zone of the airport, Le Chef will offer a view of the airport’s runways and the Jura Mountains, and is said to embody a “neo-industrial spirit”. It can be accessed by lift in both Arrivals and Departures. With an all-day service, Le Chef will feature five different spaces, with a bar, restaurant, lounge, outside terrace and private rooms.

Luzuy’s menu will rely heavily on local produce and be divided into four seasonal collections, using four cooking methods: raw or marinated, steam cooking, naked flame and slow cooking.

The cuisine is described as “fun and experimental” and Luzuy’s aim is to “play on the senses of the clients”.
