Ritter Sport updates its look for TFWA World Exhibition

Ritter Sport will reveal a new stand and refreshed packaging for its extended travel retail exclusive range at TFWA World Exhibition in Cannes (Mediterranean Village N 18).

The German chocolate specialist will also highlight its sustainability credentials and brand purpose to the travel retail channel at the show.

Ritter Sport Managing Director Global Travel Retail Jan Pasold said: “Ritter Sport stands for much more than just colourful chocolate. The new exhibition stand is the next step in combining the colourful world of Ritter Sport with our focus on sustainability.

“Sustainability is at the heart of Ritter Sport’s efforts and has been an important part of the brand’s philosophy for 30 years. We want to underline our brand purpose in physical form: doing the right thing to create really good chocolate.”

Ritter Sport’s new channel exclusive range features a number of redesigned and reimagined hero products.

Colourful, stand-out packs are included in the Ritter Sport brand refresh

The brand’s pouches feature paper-based packaging. Ritter Sport Mini Colourful Mix is available with 10 or 30 x 16.67g individual pieces while the Ritter Sport Choco Cubes Colourful Mix offers 50 pieces in six flavours.

In February 2022, the upgraded packaging will be extended to include Ritter Sport Choco Cubes mono pouches, with 14 cubes filled with Whole Hazelnut, Praline Crème or Strawberry Yogurt. The Mini Colourful Mix Pouch (10 x 16.67g) now includes the top-selling Alpine Milk flavour.

Two Ritter Sport Tower Bars – Colourful Variety (10 x 100g) and Nut Selection (8 x 100g) – target gifting.

Colourful Variety offers popular flavours including Raisins Hazelnuts; Dark Chocolate; Marzipan; Strawberry Yoghurt; Alpine Milk Chocolate; Fine Milk Chocolate; Butter Biscuit; Cornflakes; Peppermint and Praline.

Mini Multipacks are a key to the Ritter Sport travel retail exclusive line-up

The Ritter Sport Nut Selection Tower Bar includes Whole Hazelnuts, Dark Whole Hazelnuts, White Whole Hazelnuts, Whole Almonds, Honey Salt Almonds and Dark Whole Almonds.

Both are available in Mini 250g (15 x 16.67g) and 200g (12 x 16.67g) multipacks which, according to Ritter Sport, are a key component of the travel retail exclusives offer.

The Ritter Sport Choco Cubes Colourful Mix Box includes 34 pieces across Praline, Whole Hazelnut in Praline Crème, Choco Crisp and Double Caramel flavours.

Ritter Sport said it is committed to communicating its sustainability progress. A key element of its revamped packaging is that travellers have the opportunity to learn about Ritter Sport’s sustainability engagement by scanning a QR code which is featured on all packs.

Core topics are 100% certified sustainable cocoa supply chain (including the new Rainforest Alliance logo), as well certified packaging material and the brand’s climate neutral strategy.
