UK. Wellbeing company Rituals and consumer technology retailer InMotion (a WHSmith company) have opened new stores in recent days at London Heathrow Airport. The moves come amid a gradual increase of passenger traffic, aided by the reopening of transatlantic routes in November.
As reported, InMotion is opening eight stores across Heathrow terminals as the retailer replaces Dixons Travel, which is exiting the market.

Of the new Rituals store at T5, Heathrow Retail Account Manager Katy Beck said on LinkedIn: “Feeling very proud that we have opened our final new store of 2021. Over the last six months we have welcomed new stores from Rituals, JD Sports Fashion plc, Orlebar Brown, Hugo Boss and Accessorize to Heathrow. To open five shops in a pandemic has certainly been a challenge, but one welcomed with open arms. Well done to everyone involved, especially the store teams who deliver inspiring customer service daily for our passengers.”
Travel retail agency Harper Dennis Hobbs, which provides consultancy and retail advisory services, was a partner in the Rituals project. Executive Director Travel Retail Simon Black said: “I’m proud of another great collaboration between the teams at Rituals, Heathrow and Harper Dennis Hobbs who have made this come to reality. Thank you to everyone who has worked tirelessly on this project – Heathrow has another stunning new store and brand experience for its passengers using T5.”
More details on these openings to follow soon.
