GERMANY. Luxury wellbeing house Rituals Cosmetics last month introduced a standalone store at Berlin Brandenburg Airport, expanding its presence in European travel retail.
The 59sq m space was opened to shoppers passing through Terminal 1 departures on 17 April. The store spotlights Rituals’ ‘The Art of Soulful Living’ philosophy, encouraging passengers to take a moment to reflect on their wellbeing while at the airport.

Rituals offers a ‘Feel Good Experience’ through a shopping journey that creates a sense of connection with the brand, allowing customers to interact with staff and find products suited to individual needs.
The store features water islands which invite shoppers to sample different products, including the revamped The Ritual of Sakura collection. Rituals is celebrating the store opening with a promotion for its shower foam that consumers can try on-site.

Rituals Head of Travel Retail EMEA & Americas Lotte Rozemuller said: “I am excited to announce the continued expansion of Rituals’ travel retail portfolio. Europe is a key area for our business as we look ahead to growing the brand.
“Our new store in Berlin strengthens our presence in the channel and reflects our commitment to our wider strategy of standalone stores, which has been a pivotal part of Rituals’ success in travel retail.” ✈
