The new Starbucks location is the fourth to be opened by Kuwaiti regional franchise operator Alshaya – which operates more than 90 brands across the Middle East region – at KKIA.
The first was opened in T5 when it was inaugurated in 2016. A further three units in prime T3 and T4 spaces were awarded to Alshaya in 2022, as well as a Starbucks pop-up, which operated throughout the duration of last year’s FIFA World Cup. With the unveiling of the new T4 outlet, all three of those permanent venues are now open.

Al Baik Group’s T3 airside venue Al Baik is a Saudi fast food brand founded in Jeddah in 1974. It specialises in high-quality fried chicken, shrimps and fish. RAC noted: “Al Baik is one of the strongest fast food brands in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. Its menu is a favourite for Saudis, providing quality and value with a unique twist.”
