USA. Starboard Cruise Services Senior Vice President Marketing Robin Rosenbaum-Andras is stepping down after more than five years in the role. The cruise retail company, part of global luxury goods groupLVMH Moët Hennessy Louis Vuitton, has not yet confirmed a replacement.
Rosenbaum-Andras said that she will be starting her own marketing and branding consultancy next year which she described as “a lifelong ambition”. She added: “I’m grateful to have been a part of LVMH for the majority of my career.”
She told The Moodie Davitt Report: “Our new ship launches are always among my proudest moments as they clearly highlight Starboard’s differentiation in the marketplace. So it’s quite fitting to end my run with the debut of the incredible retail offering onboard Norwegian Encore.”
Norwegian Encore will be christened on Thursday 21 November in Miami by American singer, songwriter and television personality Kelly Clarkson.
Rosenbaum-Andras was appointed Senior Vice President Marketing at Starboard in August 2014 after more than 20 years at another Miami-based LVMH company, Onboard Media. The integrated media company has 2,500 employees that work both on land and onboard the ships of Starboard’s eight partner cruise lines.
Her departure is one of several senior management changes at Starboard Cruise Services this year. In February, Starboard President & CEO Beth Neumann and SVP Cruise Line Retail David Goubert left the company and in June the highly-experienced travel and cruise industry veteran Lisa Bauer was appointed as CEO. Last month, Lisa Baldzicki, an expert in retail merchandising joined Starboard as Chief Merchandising Officer.
