Royal Salute ups the luxury factor in Delhi with 62 Gun Salute

Pernod Ricard and Delhi Duty Free bring together a new dimension in luxury retailing for the Indian duty free space

INDIA. Royal Salute has launched what it describes as “the ultimate in luxury whisky”, Royal Salute 62 Gun Salute, for the premium traveller at Delhi Duty Free.

62 Gun Salute is a celebration of Royal Salute’s ongoing association with royalty and is created as a tribute to the legacy of both monarchy and whisky craftsmanship. It brings together the finest and rarest whiskies crafted by four generations of Master Blenders, claimed brand owner Pernod Ricard.

To commemorate the launch of Royal Salute 62 Gun Salute in India, Pernod Ricard has partnered with Delhi Duty Free to create the first-ever exclusive Royal Salute lounge for the discerning luxury buyer for a one-month period.

The lounge provides an intimate and relaxed environment while Royal Salute hostesses offer samples of some of the brand’s blends. The consumer can also browse through an iPad application or coffee table books featuring information on Royal Salute’s history and legacy.
