UK. Toy supplier Russ Berrie is to introduce its new Peepers collection of supersoft plush animal families at this month’s TFWA Asia Pacific show in Singapore (Stand B19).
The collection was launched in Europe and the UK earlier this year and will be making its debut in Asia.
The collection features families of “˜cute’ soft toy animals including jungle characters, dogs, cats and farm animals. There are mini, medium, large and jumbo sizes to choose from (sizes 13-100 cm), priced from US$6 to US$80.
Another feature of the stand will be Russ Berrie’s scented animals, including the new chocolate bunny and chocolate bunny key rings in vanilla, milk and dark chocolate. The scented bunnies join a range of toys which includes chocolate, strawberry, lemon and lilac teddy bears. Scented unicorns are also available.
Also new to the Asia Pacific market is a range of children’s bags, ranging from purses to rucksacks, all carrying animal motifs such as puppies, unicorns, bears and cats.
Another introduction is the Christmas tree merchandiser, a seasonal way to display Russ Berrie gifts and toys during the festive period. The four-sided unit has six shelves on each side, allowing products to be displayed on just 0.05sq m (0.5sq ft) of floor space.
