UK. Russ Berrie has extended its Shelly Turtle line with new merchandise and added two new plush toys: Shecky Green Turtle and Squirtle Pink Turtle.
Supported by a travel retail merchandising unit, the new products are part of the L’il Peepers collection, which includes two sizes of Caress beanbag sea-life animals (16.5cm and 25.4cm) retailing at £3.99 (US$7.80) and £6.99 (US$13.70) respectively.
Also in the collection are backpack clips, Paw Pens, coin purses and a Shelly plush A4-size satchel with adjustable shoulder strap, two pen holders and inner pocket.

Other new additions to the Peepers range include Slow Snail, Slither Snake, Spot Leopard, Icy White Seal, Bamboo Panda, Artic Polar Bear, Billow Grey Seal, Snappy Shark and Torpedo Penguin. Prices range from £3.99 (US$7.80) to £8.99 (US$17.60).
More styles are also being developed for 2008, including a bull, a dragon, cats, camels and a dinosaur.
