Russian Standard expands travel retail portfolio with three more vodkas

Russian Standard has expanded its global travel retail portfolio to include Żubrówka, Green Mark, Parliament and Kauffman vodkas.

Russian Standard acquired Central European Distribution Corporation, the owner of Żubrówka, Green Mark, Parliament and Kauffman vodka brands, in June, through its affiliated company Roust Trading Limited.

Żubrówka is a well-known bison grass vodka created from a 600-year-old Polish recipe while Parliament is produced in Moscow using an exclusive milk filtration process. Kauffman is a luxury Russian vodka brand.

“The extension of our global travel retail vodka portfolio will further cement Russian Standard’s position as a leader in this important channel,” said Russian Standard Vodka Commercial Director, Global Duty Free & Asia Pacific Walter Kooijman.

“As recognised market leaders, Russian Standard, Żubrówka, Green Mark, Parliament and Kauffman will present a unique, complementary and authentic offering to duty free consumers.”

The company added that the four brands are all already domestic leaders in their segments, giving them a springboard to capture a share of the travel retail market.
