Ruth Newton Jones joins Designer Parfums

INTERNATIONAL. Ruth Newton Jones has joined Designer Parfums as Director of Strategy and Business Development. Her key areas of responsibility will be to establish and grow Designer Parfums as an influential, international branded fragrance business, and to integrate new brands into its broadening portfolio. She will also oversee the development of the Jean Patou brand in other product areas in addition to fragrance.

With an extensive background in luxury brands and the beauty industry, Newton Jones has held senior positions within L’Oréal’s Luxury Products Division, where she was responsible for marketing and sales, and was Managing Director of Helena Rubinstein.

She subsequently joined the LVMH group, as Managing Director for Guerlain and Christian Dior in the UK and Ireland, eventually working across the LVMH brand portfolio for 10 years.

For the past two years Newton Jones has been active in the world of interiors, developing concepts as MD of Delbanco Meyer, and working with retailers such as The White Company, Debenhams and John Lewis, plus brands such as Monsoon, Country Living and Good Housekeeping.
