San Francisco Airport calls tender for wine bar concession

US. San Francisco International Airport has called a Request for Proposals for a wine bar lease in Terminal 3, boarding area F.

The contract will run for seven years with an option to extend for a further two, at the Airport Commission’s discretion.

The Minimum Annual Guarantee for year one will be US$49,968. For each lease year, the base rent will be the greater of the MAG or the sum of the following:
6% of Gross Revenues achieved up to and including US$1,000,000; plus
8% of Gross Revenues achieved from US$1,000,000.01 up to and including
$1,500,000; plus
10% of Gross Revenues achieved over US$1,500,000.00.

The deadline for bids is 17 February 2012, with the award expected to be made in May. There will be a pre-proposal conference on 6 December. Boarding Area F in T3 handled 6.3 million passengers in financial year 2010/2011, said the airport.
