SBT Skin Biology Therapy unveils new anti-ageing Serum

SBT Skin Biology Therapy’s new anti-ageing Serum

INTERNATIONAL. SBT Skin Biology Therapy has unveiled a new anti-ageing treatment called Cell Culture Age Care I Volume Serum. It will be available from the end of August, priced at around €175 for 30ml.

The product, which is claimed to be an effective, topical alternative to surgery and Botox, is said to be ideal for consumers in their 30s and 40s, whose skin is beginning to lose its elasticity and firmness. As the regeneration process slows down, components of the extracellular matrix (the space between the cells in the dermis) begin to break down. The result is fewer cells and the breakdown of collagen, which in turn leads to thinner skin, with less density and more lines and wrinkles.

SBT Skin Biology Therapy’s new serum combats this visibly and lastingly, according to the company. The product is said to deliver an instant plumping effect, while stimulating and strengthening collagen formation. Key ingredients include the brand’s signature Cell Culture Phase and Age Care Complex, vitamins, black tea extract Kampuchea, hyaluronic acid and marine collagen.

SBT Skin Biology Therapy Cell Culture Age Care I Volume Serum should be applied after cleansing, morning and evening, to face, neck and décolleté.

MORE ABOUT SBT SKIN BIOLOGY THERAPY
SBT Skin Biology Therapy is part of the Beiersdorf portfolio. It claims to represent a new, innovative category of dermatological skin care products.

The brand was developed in partnership with Professor Volker Steinkraus, founder of the Dermatologikum Hamburg, a speciality and outpatient clinic for dermatology, allergology, surgical dermatology, vascular surgery, plastic surgery, pathology and dermatological laboratory diagnostics including histopathology.

SBT Skin Biology Therapy is said to be the first facial skin care line to use Cell Culture Phase (a cell nutrient fluid) instead of pure water as the base for all its products. Cell Culture Phase continually provides the skin with important nutrients – which enables the skin to restore its own vitality, according to the brand.
